Wheel 3 is shipping

Wheel 3 is shipping! The pre-order phase is over, Wheel 3 is now available to order. We chose to be a bit silent until deliveries were up and running. Time to resume regular updates, there is so much more to tell about Wheel 3!

Connections

Developing Wheel 3 posed many challenges. Placing the connectors was one of them.

Like all Miniot Wheels, Wheel 3 can be set up in three ways. Flat on a table, upright on the supplied stand - leaning slightly backwards, or hung on a wall - vertically.

On the back of Wheel 3, we placed the connectors conveniently for all these uses.

Seen from behind, the 5V usb-c power port is in the teardrop shaped recess on the left side. The stereo mini-jack audio connector is on the right side.

Audiophile grade cables, or interconnects, can be very stiff. The new connector placement makes management of these cables very convenient, without sharp bends or the need for angle adapters.

The recess in the top middle is used if Wheel 3 is hung on a wall.
