Who we are

Miniot bv, trade name ‘Miniot’, designs and manufactures innovative products for discerning customers. Miniot was founded in 2008 and is based in Schagen, the Netherlands.

What we collect and receive

When you use Miniot’s services, we automatically collect certain information about your computer device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you use our services, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to our services, and information about how you interact with our services. Additionally when you complete forms on Miniot’s website, make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through it, we collect certain information from you, including your email address or phone number, name, billing address, shipping address and payment information. We may ask for this order information if you register, subscribe to our newsletters, submit content through Miniot, or contact us. We need to collect and process certain information of communications you send to us (for example, when you ask for support, send us questions or comments, or report a problem) and information you submit on or to Miniot in the form of comments, contributions to discussions, or messages to other users.

We need to collect and process details of any requests or transactions you make through our services. Miniot partners with other companies (such as Stripe, PayPal and Mollie) for payment processing, and the payment information you submit is collected and used by them in accordance with their privacy policies. Miniot doesn’t store your payment information apart from the last four digits of your credit card or bank account (as applicable), expiration date, and country, which we require for tax, government regulatory, and security purposes.

You may decline to provide us with your information. However, this will limit your ability to register for an account or use our services. You may subscribe to our newsletters by providing only your email, name and country of residence. You may review, change or remove your information through your account settings.

How we use this personal information

For example we partner with payment processors and shipping services. You can request a downloadable copy of your personal data from Miniot from your account settings page. We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. We try to keep emails to a minimum and give you the ability to opt in to any marketing communications we send.
